“The People” versus “The Boss”

UVic’s JDC West Business Competition is holding a fundraising event: “Chillin’ for Charity Corporate Challenge 2011” at Centennial Square on Friday, November 25th between 10:30 am and 1:30pm.

Local companies are encouraged to register, and there’s still time!
Here’s how:

From October 22nd to November 22nd, participating organizations will select a representative for “The People” and for “The Boss”, who will be competing against each other by raising pledge money and collecting non-perishable food items. Food items will be credited at $2.50 per pound.

At the end of the donation period, the totals for each party will be calculated.

If “The Boss” raises more money than “The People,” the representative from “The People” will be dunked in an icy cold dunk tank. If “The People” raise more, “The Boss” will be dunked.

All non-perishable food items will be donated to
the Victoria Mustard Seed Food Bank.

All monetary donations will be given to
the Victoria Cool Aid Society.
