Sector Eats : Kelsey’s Restaurant

Katie and I went for lunch at Kelsey’s in the Tillicum area on April 18th, 2012, and here’s what we had to say:

Katie ordered the French Onion soup for $6.99. She found that while the portion size was just perfect, she was unable to finish the bowl because the soup was incredibly salty. Behind the saltiness, there was definitely some flavour but the salt was just overpowering. The service itself was great – fast and friendly.

I ordered the California Clubhouse Wrap – “ancho-spiced” chicken, red pepper hummus, guacamole, double-smoked bacon, fresh spinach, lettuce, roma tomatoes and feta cheese in a grilled tortilla – with a side house salad for $12.49. It was everything I expected. I liked that the tortilla was grilled and not overstuffed – it made it easier to eat – no mess. The service was prompt – they also have Express Lunch options – ready in 15 minutes or it’s free!

Kelly: 4 out of 5

Sector says: “Excellent service, decent food”
