$1500 in Training Available for Small Business Owners

Attention Small Business Owners!

The BC Chamber of Commerce Micro Business Training (MBT) Pilot Program is providing small business owners with up to $1500 for training to upgrade their own skills to improve the efficiency and/or productivity of their businesses.

What sort of training is covered?
Here’s a list of eligible training options – including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite computer training.

Eligibility:
Your business must have fewer than 5 Employees.
You must have no university or post-secondary credits or education, as well as no provincially, nationally, or internationally recognized certifications.

How Long is Funding Available?
The MBT Program runs through March 31, 2014 with the last applications being accepted December 31, 2013 dependant on funding availability. The program targets a minimum of 1,200 participants.

Funding is awarded on first come, first serve basis so act now and fill out your application form today.
